WIKINDX 3.2.2 released.

Vie, 2006-08-18 00:00
WIKINDX v3.2.2 released. WIKINDX is a single or multi-user research environment storing searchable bibliographies, notes and citations and integrated with a WYSIWYG word processor for the authoring of publication-ready articles automatically formatted to chosen citation styles. WIKINDX v3.2.2 has the following CHANGELOG: Focus: Minor feature enhancements and bug fixes. FEATURE ENHANCEMENTS: 1/ When a URL is requested for a page within WIKINDX, the default action now is to let that user in with read only access rather than returning the log-in prompt/read only hyperlink. This is particularly useful where web sites have links directly to resources within WIKINDX for example RSS feeds. Administrators wishing to return the log-in prompt instead can set $WIKINDX_READONLYACCESS to FALSE in config.php. 2/ When exporting a bibliography listing with metadata to RTF, there is now an option to print primary creator surname and publication year in addition to page number for each metadata. 3/ When importing a bibtex file or pasting a bibtex file, the user can specify the keyword separator in the source bibliography (comma, semicolon or either/or). 4/ Users can now browse all creators, collections, publishers, categories and keywords with frequency of occurrence indicated explicitly by number and implicitly by 'tag clouds' using font size and colour. CSS/Template designers should note that there are two new CSS classes to help implement this: 'browseLink' and 'browseParagraph' (see templates/default/default.css for details). BUG FIXES: 1/ All logged on users can add and delete resource file attachments. 2/ An Endnote import with unicode/UTF-8 characters is properly imported. A full list of the major features and the full CHANGELOG can be found at the WIKINDX home page: http://wikindx.sourceforge.net/ Test-drive a public WIKINDX at: www.sirfragalot.com/wikindx3/ Download WIKINDX at: www.sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=94435&package_id=109093 Why would I want to use WIKINDX? If you want an academic/research authoring system that... 1/ can manage all my bibliographic data allowing me to search through them with an accuracy and speed that cannot be duplicated with index cards, 2/ enables me to store unlimited quotes, paraphrases and thoughts and to efficiently cross-reference them in a searchable database, 3/ is free, stable and open source allowing me to cast off the shackles of commercial, licensed software, 4/ supports non-English multi-byte character sets, 5/ runs on all major operating systems (*NIX, OsX, Windows), 6/ runs not only on a desktop computer but also on a web server so I can access my bibliography from any networked point or share my bibliography with my research team, 7/ allows multiple attachments for each bibliographic resource, 8/ can export my bibliography in various bibliographic styles (APA, Chicago, IEEE for example), 9/ allows me to edit or create bibliographic styles through a graphical interface, 10/ integrates a WYSIWYG word processor with easy importation of quotes etc. so that at long last I can write an article, from draft through to publication, with automatic citation formatting entirely within the one software, 11/ at the click of a mouse button will reformat my article to another citation style whether that style uses footnotes, endnotes or in-text citation, 12/ can import other bibliographic data in BibTeX or Endnote format, 13/ supports multiple users, ...then WIKINDX is all this and more. IM Sniffer: Version 0.7 Beta

Vie, 2006-08-18 00:00
Instant Message Sniffer-Intercepts and decodes all instant message traffic received by the computer. A high performance engine delivers real time message decryption. Conversations can be viewed immediately or saved for later analysis. NOTE: Requires WINP Hopefully 0.7 will be released sometime next week or early the week after. Many bugs were identified in 0.64 and 0.7 now drops less then 1/10000 packets depending on the system and type of messages. We have received help from many developers and the yahoo dll is almost complete. Currently it looks like MSN will have to be put off till 0.8 but that may still change. Also 0.7 will feature a new interface which is much more graphical and easier to use as well as support for any protocol we can create a dll for. It also introduces the IMR file format which allows for corporate and/or third party message logging and parsing-email me if you are interested in creating programs that use it. Help is still needed with logging file transfers and 0.9 will not be released without that ability. https://sourceforge.net/projects/imsniffer
